THANKS TO ALL GHA VOLUNTEERS

The GHA board and Genoa community will be recognizing the work of all the GHA volunteers on Sunday 10/20/24 (2-4 PM). Please stop in and offer your thanks to these exceptional volunteers. They accomplish the mission of the GHA.

Without our dedicated volunteers we could not collect, preserve, and interpret Genoa’s historical records.

Without dedicated hard working volunteers we could not preserve and share our buildings and grounds.

Without generous and knowledgeable volunteers we would not be able to operate a museum.

Without the leadership and generosity of volunteers we would not be able to hold our events and celebrations.

Without thoughtful and community oriented volunteers we would not publish the tribune and promote this community’s great historical resource.

The Annual GHA Board Meeting is scheduled for December 16, 2024, 6:30 – 7:30 PM. The public is invited, RSVPs can assure sufficient seating. We hope to elect new board members to fill a couple open seats on the board, and will be presenting our year-end reports.

Are you interested in serving on the GHA board? Please inquire within, or send us an email.

Are you wanting to work with the GHA, but not ready to be a board member? Ask about serving on one of our committees.

Do you have an idea for an educational seminar – whether you can volunteer as a presenter or give us an idea of interest so we can identify a presenter, please let us know of topics you would like to see the Genoa Historical Association and Rural Life Museum host! We can offer Zoom and In-House options! Email: Use our Contact Us page, or email [email protected] or call 315-364-8202.
